Does anyone else think Cale is gonna overload at some point?

Like, it's a reoccurring thing all throughout pt1 and pt2. Raon originally died via overload in the boah timeline. Boah Choi Han killed what was essentially a corpse animated by hatred and magic. The Dragon Halfblood burned up his lifespan and died, then became the Black Bone Dragon because he did an incomplete overload while trying to kill Cale and Raon. The dark mage who fought Rosalyn in the Alchemists Tower arc, the one that figured out how to weild both living and dead mana. He couldn't beat Rosalyn, so he overloaded to try and kill her.

Even Ryan died only because he overloaded. Marking the Dragon Halfblood's SECOND death due to overload.

Just like the reoccurring themes about people mistaking Cale for a dragon, or thinking he's a God, overload deaths are a running thing that keeps popping back up. Not to mention they are some of the only "on screen" deaths. Aside from a different explosion death suicide squad style. (Emporor of the dead mana world go BOOM)

Anyhow, I have a lot of probably crack pot theories, and this is one of them. Especially with Cale's plate being completely absorbed into his heart in the Apitou arc and the constant heart stuff going on. The author is really found of hearts.

I feel like there's at least a good chance that Cale plans a "if it all goes to shit, I can at least overload and guarantee a kill" emergency backup plan for the finale.

Choicale but no one notices anything new for a while— because Choi Han is still acting like a puppy towards Cale, while the redhead doesn't say anything about their relationship because he deems it obvious (the same way he is with the healing ability aka crybaby) and so those two act like they had beforehand (though I give it few hours before Ron first of all notices)

And that is exactly when Cale gets the chills, and lowkey wants to jump out of the window.

I think I've seen other people talk about it, but Cale is definitely touch averse/touch repulsed, right? Or at least he is in the beginning of the story.

I think as he learns to trust people like Choi Han and Rosalyn, he has less of an issue touching them. He becomes pretty comfortable carrying/being carried by the people he trusts with his life.

But what about his kids? Cale is always really cuddly with the kids and only the kids. And if I recall, he gets comfortable with them a lot faster than anyone else. And I think that's because they aren't human.

As someone who is very touch repulsed/averse, non-human things don't trigger a reaction from me. And fuzzy things are fine. So fluffy cats and soft scaly dragons probably don't cause the same discomfort in Cale as strangers would. He always talks about how soft and cool Raon's scales are or how soft and fluffy On and Hong's fur is. I think them not being in human form probably made it a lot easier for him to warm up to them.

And things like shaking hands at work are very different. You are already wearing a mask, so hiding the discomfort of touching someone else can be learned and tolerated. And I think Cale does that for diplomatic meetings too.

Lighting is awesome, I could be drawing the nastiest poop and it'd still look good with the right lighting.
