ok I rlly shoulda drawn masked/caped Meta Knight before drawing this but. lets be real here. the thirst was too strong

SO I RUINED THE SURPRISE BUT W/E ITS FINE!! Here is gijinka Meta Knight, maskless. This is a lighter outfit that’s more comfortable & practical bc it’s intended to be a parallel to his look in Return to Dreamland, Battle Royale, Star Allies, and any game where he’s playable and doesn’t wear the cape. When not in use, his wings fold behind his back. He has very pretty eyes, but prefers to hide them with his mask. He tries to excuse it as not wanting to distract his opponents, but it’s mostly just because he reacts awkwardly to compliments. 

I’m REALLY happy with this new design for him, holy shit, I could draw him a million times if I had the energy. I’ll definitely draw him again soon though, because I want to draw him with an outfit that looks more like his Smash Bros design!

I can't decide if I want the next Neric thing to be them going about their normal business, just extra flirty and referencing that they're actually in a relationship, or if I want some hard core, Nell-shoving-him-against-a-wall-type kissing, or if i want sweet cuddles. I mean, obviously I want all of them to happen at some point. What do you want to happen first?

i mean, in an ideal world we’d have gotten any kind of follow up straight away, be it a comment or a knowing smile or literally anything, but i have a certain set of expectations of this show and while this season has refuted them a great deal, i’m well aware they only did it b/c they’ve been missing at least one full time cast member at any point the whole season. 

So frankly, i’ll be pleased by literally anything, i am willing to look to the bright side of the ‘totally normal’ at work because it does actually mean what i took it as, them you know, being together changes nothing about their work because honestly they were both already in so deep it was probably just sheer irritation at their lack of momentum from Hetty that made her make go on a couples retreat together and then subtly send them a nerd shaped gift who ~happens to be dating a coworker to tell them it works and is great. What a coincidence... 

But also i’m like 90% certain that nothing happening was just the writers dropping the ball rather than any intentional hints, you know? My trust does not run deep, but i take what i can get. 

But my ultimate ideal for the next step is a cold open of just like, them sleeping in bed together (nerd pyjamas pls, also actual sleeping) just like... tangled up. Then something super unromantic happens like Nell having to shove him off her b/c she’s tiny and he’s squishing her, because this is them and it has to be a bit awkward otherwise it wouldn’t feel right, you know? He’s horrified, she finds it funny, shuts up his freaking out with a kiss. /Now enter a call into work, stage left~/

[insert episode plot here, minimum 3 explosions]

Then, the last scene of the same episode is Nell practically pouncing him. Has to be her going for him tho, i think Eric should get his moment of Nell obviously and blatantly wanting to rip his clothes off tbh. Plus we haven’t had a shirtless barrett on the show yet and we should have, if only so i can properly make that shirtless dude gifset, so that needs to happen here too, definitely undressing. I’m just piling it on now. Also, I damn waited this long for this to be canon i better get to see these things and not just hear about them second hand. 

also them playing footsie would be really adorable like can i add that to the wishlist for about the middle of this imaginary episode??? 

this was starting to sound like a ransom demand list so i’m gonna quit now,
