think about kaz buying and tending to houseplants as a way to keep his dark thoughts at bay. think about inej waking up an hour before kaz does during a quiet morning, watching his eyelashes flutter and the rise-and-fall of his chest. kaz and inej have always had to be hard to survive—think about the two of them finally getting to be soft in the safety of shared space.
