hey so. i have discovered i have central heterochromia!!! i now feel obligated to comment on the/one of the only BTD/TPOF characters to have such a thing, because im insane and need to relate to everything
Jack.
ew i know but stay with me- creepy stalker cop to takes his pick out to the desert for a game of cat and mouse. my personal HC is that, while he acts out at LEAST once a year, i like to think he's a moral metronome. genuinely enjoys his job and genuinely feels he saves people on the clock, while also grinding his teeth and wishing he could just kill some of these fucking people. he's gross, he's INCREDIBLY predatory, but he's also staying late to look through papers because some missing young woman needs to come home.
when he's able to get the job done and 'save the day' so to speak, Jack absolutely glows with a sense of heroism and victory. everyone found the best possible ending, so his ego deserves a good stroke! but then he's got the drunks bashing their bare heels on the ground outside the 7/11 and he's never wanted to pull his gun more
the "vacations" act as an outlet for that. i dont think its something he PLANNED to get addicted to. i believe he was a cop first, in mentality. one day the opportunity arose, and... he nabbed someone. rode out. hurt them real bad. went home with a weight off his shoulders. it just became worse and worse overtime, and the guilt no longer follows him home.
he's one of the greyest characters i think about once in a blue moon and i think he, among many others, deserve a little more......... i mean, YOU can call it love, but i'll just say limelight
