Ngl i am worried about how the ahsoka series is gonna portray the nightsisters. I really think they glamorized and sympathized with them too much, and just never touched on how the nightbrothers were slaves. Especially with ventress, how they gave her a redemption and a chance to look after a young boy, especially after she helped lobotomize Savage, and sending young boba fett to....well, look it up. I'm not opposed to giving ventress a redemption arc, but maybe not with a kid like that, and not with the romanticization of the nightsisters. The whole "nightbrothers" arc was pretty vile of her and of talzin, and the whole implication that the men are mostly used for breeding yeilds some dark implications. Idk maybe this post is very sloppy

I just watched the movie “Remarkably Bright Creatures” and I tried googling something I noticed and nobody’s talking about it and it’s bothering me so here goes.

I noticed something while watching, and im curious to see if anybody else noticed it too.

The color yellow was kind of associated with death throughout the movie, and apparently it wasn’t intentional, which makes this a really odd coincidence.

The raincoat Tova’s son was wearing when he drowned? Yellow.

The color Cameron’s mom died in? Yellowish green.

The jellyfish Marcellus saw as he was going deeper and deeper underwater? Yellow.

The mop bucket Tova wheeled Marcellus outside in when he was dying? Yellow.

I need to see if anyone else noticed this, because nobody’s talking about it online and it’s bugging me.

Anyways 10/10, absolutely great film, very emotional.

During one of my very many re-watches of PoA today, I noticed a couple little details that made me smile

In the scene where harry is listening to the conversation between rosmerta, fudge, and McGonagall, there's a dog there

And when Ron and Hermione are arguing over whether or not crookshanks killed scabbers, there's a random dude playing what looks like a recorder playing the background music.

You know what it’s weird about katseye? They are getting more sexualized as time goes on and it’s creepy.

Before any of their stans talk shit and act stupid, I know this is a reference to MC’s cover. But out of all of her outfits, they chose this? The video isn’t much better either. This is a problem that is going to get worse and I hate the company for pushing this on them!

i was watching TADC again and i noticed something in ep 4

Ragatha mentions “i’m hurt enough; packages landing on my head, tea parties, dancing lessons” when she’s rambling on the stupid sauce. she also has been shown to have had a bad childhood with her mom. are these “packages landing on her head” and “tea parties” and “dancing lessons” things her mother subjected her to?

maybe her mom not only threw knives, but packages? maybe she made her take grueling dancing lessons? maybe the table we see her at isn’t a dinner table, but a tea party?

just a thought i had.
