I do not GAZE at Scully š
I just sync my breathing to match hers and Iāve taught myself to smell when she is upset. I learnt her thesis off by heart before I ever even met her and I angle my body towards hers whenever weāre in the same room. I watch her sleeping sometimes and I bought her matching pyjamas that I keep in my bedroom and one day Iāll give to her.
I do not GAZE though and frankly Iām offended by-
I donāt gaze at her, weāre just two deeply intertwined somewhat codependent individuals who struggle to function without each other. Weāre just two co-workers who have seen each other at their absolute lowest and still continue to love them because weāre both broken but weāre both beautiful.
Definitely no gazing though
Itās not like if you pause on a frame that weāre both in thereās about a seventy five percent chance one of us is looking at each other or at each others lips. No gazing though
I do NOT gaze at Scully.
Weāre just two codependent cats who MUST be adopted together. We come to work, we do our job, and weāve canonically seen each other nude at least once. Sure, Iāve shielded Scully from bullets with my body. Sure, sheās brought me back from the literal dead after agonizing over my disappearance. Sure, Iāve cried over her cancer-riddled body while she was asleep. But, I donāt gaze at her.
Do we have keys to each otherās apartment? Yes. Do we go stir crazy if the other one doesnāt show up to work? Of course! Have I tenderly, yet forcefully caressed the back of her neck while checking to see if she was infected with an ancient Antarctic parasite? Uh-huh! Have I saved her from getting literally lobotomized? Absolutely!
But gazing??? I donāt think so.
THIS!!
