All these posts about “uwu friendly reminder! don’t go to pride if you’re going to harass people showing pda!!!!!” honestly are getting on my nerves.

Like yeah i 100% agree that harassing people at pride for them holding hands/kissing/etc is bad, i don’t even think that anyone’s trying to dispute that.

But the way it’s always stated just feels like “uwu aros and aces are so shitty to everyone so just try to contain yourselves!!!!”

Like I’m p romance repulsed but if i saw a couple kissing or holding hands I’d just go somewhere else??? or look away??? i wouldn’t say anything to them bc it’s my thing to deal with

This just feels like a rehash of “aros and aces shouldn’t come to pride bc they’re all sex shaming puritan homophobes” but now it’s just getting lumped in w general posts about pride

Just use some common sense is all I’m trying to say i guess. Make an effort to respect aros and aces
