in a situation like theirs, youd imagine someone would say 'would you believe me if i said i wouldnt mind staying like this?' as in, theyre fine with getting their own body but they enjoy the thought of remaining as one person
that is not what john does said.
no, what he said was that he would be happy to stay like this. he would be happy to remain in arthurs mind, a voice only his host could hear, unable to interact with the world around him by himself. he would be happy with that.
