in hindsight, this was not one of rina’s best ideas.
what led to her getting stuck on this tree? well, it started with a cat, and much to her dismay, ends without one.
she was just minding her own business, walking about when she hears a meow coming from a tree. of course, trees don’t meow. cats do. so when she sees a cat perched on a branch, she knew she just had to pet it. apparently, she’s pretty skilled at tree climbing (new skill unlocked!) and made it to the branch effortlessly.
but, just when she reached out to pet it, the furry feline jumped onto the branches below her and lands on the grass, running off elsewhere without sparing her so much as a single glance.
and it turns out, she’s pretty shit at coming back down from trees.
so here she is, sitting on a sturdy branch with her legs swinging below and waiting for someone she recognises to pass by, because god forbid this be her first impression for a new friend. finally, lady luck answers her call and the girl spots a familiar face heading her direction. squinting her eyes, she aims a twig at him and throws, smiling when it hits him in the chest.
with a sheepish smile on her face, rina waves from her branch.
“hey, did you know that cats can be left-pawed or right-pawed?”
