My Hero Academia sounded like it could be a cool show but like... a super hero series with all boys except for one girl that’s a super side character. I’m just... soooo excited. (sarcasm) It’s not like that hasn’t been done a thousand times before. And she’s designed like all those token girls in shonens who are like, bubbly, cheery and embody every feminine trait (which isn’t bad by itself) because they’re the only girl but tend to never be as strong as the main cast. And judging by what I’ve seen, there’s a male-male rivalry going on meaning those two are likely to be 90% of the screen time.
Like yaaaay (sarcasm) a super hero sausage fest with a token love interest. If she doesn’t come packaged with a crush on one of the boys or one of the boys having a crush on her, I will be very pleasantly surprised. But I’m doubting it.
