Also its so real youre right. Even for as much as Mr. Flower tries to get Thorn to cut back on his smoking... or just quit entirely.

I don't remember if i made a post about it here or if i just yapped about it to someone, but i did mention Mr. Flower used to have bad smoking habits himself when he was a bit younger.

He's since cut back and is on his own road to recovery. He rarely ever smokes now tho!

Sometimes i feel like watching Thorn inhale two to three packs in a day is what scared Mr. Flower into cutting back completely as well as making sure Thorn doesn't smoke himself to death. 🤭

But i also like to think on especially stressful occasions, the two may share a quiet moment a short smoke break together.

On a more positive note regarding the latest rather disappointing news about, the 3 choices mattering in DAV, is that the lasts restraints that kept me from going fully off the edge headcanoning things for my canon DAI worldstate have fallen off. Canon is now whatever I want it to be.

Commander of my Inquistion Army? It's Samson and he is an old man disaster bisexual. I can talk to Fiona about whatever the hell is going on with the Wardens and she is involved in the plot and decision making, sort of in a semi-advisor role like Morrigan. Speaking of Morrigan she is... still the "eluvian expert" actually because I think that it could actually be very... typical of Orlais and it's ruler to send a human whose role is basically a yassyfied mystical court jester up to this point to be an expert on the "elven stuff". They just don't do anything with it. But now they do. Also remember when characters background was utilized in a meaningful way outside of some table missions and 1 sentence in a DLC? I do now. And no one in game will ever deny this happened so it is pretty much as canon as all the rest of the Inquistion.

This is not to say that I think people shouldn't be disappointed by how this is handled, trust me I am still quite disappointed. But looking at it all through an optimistic nihilism lense is helping me cope with it a little so I am going to just take that and run with it, see where that takes me.
