SM STATION: Thirsty (Concert Ver.) Q&A

I guess some of you might not know what is SM STATION or in which way you can support Taemin with this new single, so here’s a little Q&A to help you know how to support Taemin and of course the rest of SHINee members with upcoming SM STATION releases. — What is SM STATION? SM STATION is a weekly project by SM Entertainment. This project releases a new digital single every week (every Friday) and it doesn’t involve only SMTOWN artists but also the collaboration with international artists and musicians. Right now SM STATION is in its second season (first season was last year, 2016). — It’s Taemin first single for SM STATION? Yes, it is. However, it’s not the first time that a member of SHINee works for SM STATION. Onew has released two singles for SM STATION, one for the first season, 밤과 별의 노래 (Starry Night) (with Lee Jin Ah) and another for this second season, 수면제 (Lullaby) (with Rocoberry). In the case of Jonghyun he released two singles for the first season: 한마디 (Your Voice) (with Heritage) and Inspiration, but as you can see there was no MVs for any of his singles.  — Which kind of single SM STATION releases? SM STATION releases only digital singles, which means they’re released only through Korean website (as Melon, Genie, Bugs, NAVER Music, etc.) but they’re also available later in music platforms as iTunes and Spotify. — When will be Thirsty (Concert Ver.) released? There might be a MV? The digital single will be released in Korean music sites on November 10 at 18:00 (KST). It has been confirmed through the video teaser that Thirsty will have a performance video.  — Will Taemin promote Thirsty? SM STATION singles are likely to not have music shows promotions, except of a very few exceptions (for example Hyoyeon with her single Mystery). Taemin has already finished his promotions for MOVE, so he’ll probably not be back again to music shows to promote this single (unless there’s a sudden confirmation that he will, which would be strange, since he might start now his preparation for his solo concerts in Japan on November 19, 25 and 26). — Then how can I support Thirsty? It’s not very different from the usual ways to support comebacks but, since it’s a digital release, of course you can’t purchase a physical copy. However, you can support Taemin’s new single in these different ways: A) Stream Thirsty (Concert Ver.) in digital sites. In case you’ve been streaming digitally MOVE in sites as Melon or Bugs, you might have some days left to stream with your streaming pass (since streaming pass last 30 days), so use these days left to stream the song! If your streaming pass is over but you have the option to purchase another again, please go and purchase streaming pass in Melon and / or Bugs. In case you can’t purchase a streaming pass, you can try to achieve FREE streaming pass in NAVER Music. You have all the information and tutorials for digital streaming here! B) In case there’s a MV for Thirsty, stream the MV in YouTube and NAVER. Go and visit the official SMTOWN profiles in YouTube and NAVER to get ready once the video is released! To do massive streaming in YouTube, you have some tips here. C) Show your support to Taemin and Thirsty for FREE in official sites. How? Giving ‘like’ to Taemin and the single in Korean websites and sharing the single and / or the MV through your social media. Also, searching for Taemin (태민) and SHINee (샤이니) in websites as NAVER and Melon helps them reach the real time search trends, as also sharing articles which talk about Taemin and SHINee and giving them a ‘like’ helps to rise the popularity of the articles. For example, try to give a ‘like’ (being logged in) and share in your social media this article! You have all these tips more detailed here. As you can see, you can support Taemin (and of course SHINee) in very different ways, so find your best way to support him and his upcoming single Thirsty and work as hard as you can!
