May i ask how you and your hubby got into polyamory? 🥰
Oooooh yeah! I've told this before, but why not again! SO! Bexxx lore under the cut.
I first discovered the idea of polyamory through a comic when I was 16, it was about a married couple who meet a third and start a polyamorous triad, and it blew my brain wide fucking open. I had no idea that was something that was even an option! I was always told and shown, especially being raised Catholic, that you have one person and one person only that you get married to and that is it, anything else was bad, wrong, dirty, cheating.
But the idea of multiple people all being in a relationship, and all aware and loving each other in their own ways and everyone knowing all about it, was a fantastic concept that I immediately loved and identified with. It sounded and seemed right.
I had a less than stellar experience with trying it out in a relationship I was in at the time, but I won't get into all that, but it was so bad it made me drop the idea for a long time.
When I was 21 and a while into dating, my now husband Mr.Bex, he brought it up, he knew about my past and my polyam feels because we were friends when I discovered it. We both knew we were really into each other, and it felt so right, we knew we were in this for the long haul, but we were young and inexperienced. I am bisexual but hadn't been with any women, he had like one or two sexual experiences outside of me, so we talked, we talked, and then we talked some more.
I feel like I have never experienced jealousy as an emotion and he is a very non-jealous person too, so we started to explore with a mutual friend of ours and we more than handled it, we fucking looooved it.
We discovered it made us even stronger, we loved sharing this experience, it made us feel full and so happy, like a part of us we didn't know we had being like being satiated for the first time. So we've explored a lot but when we got engaged due to life happening we haven't gotten to fuck around with polyam stuff for a while, six years, and now we are back in, and I will be honest. It is better than it ever was previously.
