Everyone laughed at Riverdale but THEIR final season canonised Veronica x Betty x Archie x Jughead, so who's laughing now?
#sounds about right
why don't you write a weird gay play about a heterosexual all-american comic character and get a cease & desist from the comic company then spend the next 20 years working to become the creative director of the comic company and create a campy tv show that culminates in your weird gay play-turned-musical, creating the most fulfilling full circle in media history. just try it out, see how it goes
#veronica you sound gay as hell right now
like i understand where you are coming from but the fact that it’s a beloved american institution (archie) that represents the pure american teenage ideal (which doesn’t exist) and the show corrupts it by putting the characters through increasingly absurd trials. it represents the corruption of youth and how when you’re a teen everything feels so much more extreme. they don’t “take it too far” it’s taken to an extreme height because it’s satire. the cult plotline is good just because i like it though. and it comes from the 70s fear of cults taking away our kids and recruiting them for debauchery. just like how g&g is supposed to be the satanic panic of the 80s and the black hood is the surge of serial killers in the 60s and 70s. every “insane” plotline is purposefully representative of the fears of small town america
Re-watching 2x01 of iwtv just to feel something (the feeling is agony)
One of the best pieces of score of all time idc.
YOU SEEM PRETTY SAD FOR VAMPIRES SO IN LOVE.
Anyway the cure by olivia rodrigo as a LDPDL song, have we considered this?
I understand that lots of people won't have heard of CMAT but seeing people call her an unknown artist after the Olivia cover is kinda wild to me because that's literally Dunboyne Diana.
Yeah, I guess the end is here.
Why do you talk to the book? The book is my friend!
AMC's Interview with the Vampire (2022), Season 1 Episode 2 | Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac & Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy
If you were the last vampire on earth, it would be enough.
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE 02.01 | "What Can the Damned Really Say to the Damned"
It's all creeping back. Paris and the, uh, what, what, what? But there's… all of it coming back. There's, uh, Paris. Paris. Can you hear that? Can you hear that, hm? Can you hear her? She's calling me.
