I only have around 23 pages left in Magnus Chase and the Ship of the Dead, but it's really hard to work up the energy to want to read them. Because Loki doesn't deserve his punishment, in my opinion. Him being lonely and sent back into endless captivity doesn't feel right. Magnus and Alex being together (despite Alex mocking and teasing and bullying Magnus for 90% of this book) also feels horrible. This whole book has been a fiasco, and I don't know if i want to read any more. I'm gonna be bringing a second book to school tomorrow, so maybe I will get to just skip straight to that one. But… should I?
Or should I force myself to be strong? Should I tough out the remainder of this book? I probably should, even if i have absolutely hated it. So i'll do it. I'll do it, but I probably won't be too happy. But I am burnt out from making all these notes today. I have like 12 new notes in my phone, all because i either had ideas for comics or was super stressed about my book or because I had way too much free time to kill. Probably all of the above, honestly.
