I'm a a chick so I've dealt with other people asking me since around 17 why I don't have/want a kid yet, but this weekend there was a newborn at the function and someone asked the usual "Don't you want one of these little ones for yourself?" and my knee jerk response before I thought over it was

"And live at least another 18 years? No Thank you!"

Like Woa Dawgs, I really truly in my heart don't wanna have to live that much longer lollll

No offense but I just can't vibe with folks who claim they're into House and Techno and they're not aware of any new House and Techno music. Still talking about tracks released over 20, 25, 30+ years ago. 🤣😂

Also ancient here, tumblr standards in the fandom are basically all the same...and they're basically wrong about age(few fandoms are very welcoming to every age...Queen fandom is one of those) ...to those who are 26/30 you guys are not old at all, just experienced so more retatable to the younger ones ❤ . Quick question though, do you any other blog 30+ / 40 to suggest? (Being it Pedro related/Marvel or Star Wars maybe?) thank u

Sadly there will probably always be people who try to push people out for a variety of reasons, so let’s say it one more time for the people in the back:

Fandom is for anyone of any age that wants to be here!!

[**With the exception of spaces that specifically for 18+ or under 18, and the obvious qualifier that you should be respectful of any age limits people place on their own personal blogs/interactions.]

As for 30+ bloggers, I know several, but I hesitate to list them for fear of outting someone who would rather not have their age known on the internet.  

Instead, I’d like to invite anyone over 30 to reblog or comment on this post with their age (or age range) and the fandoms they’re in. 

Let’s get some love for/from older fans!!

I’ve wanted to shave my hair really short for years. I never did it because my husband was very hesitant about the idea. Not in a bullying, “No wife of mine,” kind of way, but you know how fragile masculinity can be, and he’s my husband and I don’t want to fight with him or make him feel bad about something so meaningless and shallow, so I just let it go. (And tbh I wasn’t sure about it myself.)

Anyway, in the last year, his opinion has changed and I have shaved my hair off. What made the difference? Instead of saying, “I want to shave all my hair” I told him, “I want hair like Furiosa or Negasonic Teenage Warhead.” When I was able to say it that way, he didn’t think, “weird bald wife” or “Britney having a breakdown” he thought, “awesome badass wife.”

I’m just so happy we’re getting more variation in the presentation of women in media. More women, and more kinds of women and it just makes me so happy and my head is so much cooler now that it is shaved.

Husband calls me Negasonic Middle-aged Warhead.
