With that last post, I’ve completed my resolution: I’ve sketched everyday in 2022!

Well, 351 days really, minus the 14 days where my granma died AND I got covid 😥

I made the resolution because I felt I wasn’t drawing enough in 2021, and was afraid that I might lose the joy in drawing.

But after drawing daily for 2022, I’ve come to realised that it was wrong to feel that way: drawing more didn’t mean I’d enjoy it more, far from it there were days I WISHED I didn’t have to.

It did made me plan my hours more efficiently throughout the day, juggling between work, family, and this challenge. It also gave me the opportunity to refine my linework, and explore styles and poses.

All in all I do feel that I achieved what I wanted for the resolution, and moving forwards I... probably won’t be doing daily sketches as much haha.

But I’ll continue to draw still 😁 Hope you’ve find some of the sketches enjoyable!
