It's interesting that Carol drives a police car and Manousos an ambulance. Like, Carol is the investigator and Manousos is the healer, essentially. If it wasn't for him, I think Carol would be too deep into the fantasy to wake up; he reminded her of her mission and she came back to save the world not just because they would convert her against her will (although that's the biggest reason), but also because she wouldn't be so alone while doing so.

People give the first season of rebels too much crap. 

I always say S2 is my favorite Rebels season, but... I rewatch S1 the most by far. Most of the S1 episodes give so much good characterization for Kanan and Ezra... Even the episodes that I’m not the biggest fans of have moments that inform and build on their characterization. 

The rest of the Ghost crew gets better characterization later on, but as the definitely main characters... Kanan and Ezra’s development in S1 is so important and shouldn’t be glossed over.

It’s comforting to know that I can always go back and watch Buffy. I just love this show, and these characters so much, flaws and everything.
