Then and Now

My first half dozen or so characters are, unfortunately, lost to history. That and the fact that I didn't start taking screenshots until I started actively using my Tumblr account [2022].

If I recall correctly my first character was a lalafell conjurer with a name akin to Ayasu Yasu. It was around the time when Stormblood was the latest expansion pack. The story was good but for some reason, I couldn't stick with it.

I came back in 2020, for reasons I can't remember at the moment, and even then it took a few goes before one of my characters stuck. That one is Asel Kha.

Here's the first screenshot I took of her, in Eureka of all places, and an approximation of what she looked like when I first made her. I think I changed her horns so they would look better with a hairstyle I wanted to use but I'm not sure. I remember having trouble picking hairstyles in the beginning.

And here she is now. I took this shot today. The first noticeable thing is that I've improved at using GPose. Also, there was a graphics update.

I don't think I so much changed her as time went on as I did refine her. That is a lot of playing around and seeing what works. And I imagine such will continue as long as I work on my writing.

these dramatic dips in mood as of late have to be because I stopped taking magnesium, that and obviously time as a trigger obv exacerbates symptoms.

I was thinking about OTP types, and how everyone’s always talking about what dynamic they love best, enemies, best friends, whatever. None of which applies to me.  But I finally figured it out: I’m not necessarily attracted by the relationship dynamics. My OTP is almost always “character I want to dissect to see how their brain works”/”character I want to bone.”
