IIII'M SOOOO PIIISSED i had the most coolest dream about a book that existed and I could actually read it in the dream and it was set up in the style of like a field journal like it had clippings of articles and then notes from the author and it was about investigating this god like creature called the divine that the author was sure existed pointing to references in other places or things that couldn't be explained and then also part diary as the uathor talked about themselves and their life as they iinvestigated and as the book went on it became clear that the divine was real and was reading everything in the book and would leave her own handwritten responses in things and the book became a back and forth of them communicating, like at first it was the divine correcting things or pointing things out and then they started to fall in love (of course) and it was so good but I DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THE PLOT PART!!! OR ANY OF THE LORE!! Or any of what they talked about... I don't think the divine was a physical being but I can't remember if she took over the author's body to leave her responses or just magicked them onto the page or if she spoke within the author's mind... I vividly remember rereading and being like oh wow this is a great sentence I need to remember it and highlight it OH NO I CAN'T BECAUSE THIS IS A DREAM AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO REFERENCE IT LATER!!! I'm sooo upset bc i want to make this now but i don't have any actual plot inspiration!!! AAAAA
