Just wanted to say how much I appreciate that you're making an effort to still offer us fic content despite your life getting busier, when you don't owe us anything and you'd be so within your rights to just say you're too busy. I'll be rereading your longer fics this year anyway but I'm so pleased I'll still be able to kick my legs and screech in joy every time I get an ao3 email notification that you've posted ❤️

That's so sweet of you to say. I'm delighted you plan on rereading my longer fics and I hope you'll enjoy these short little things I'm posting. Honestly every year I say I'm going to write less fanfic and then the muse bites me, so never say never on what I might end up writing this year, but I hope that in giving you guys these fics it'll serve in part as a reminder to myself to focus on things other than fanfic.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and then if you like that The Starless Sea by the same author, both adult fantasy

Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. It's essentially really well written fanfiction in a published book. Their second book One Last Stop is also excellent.

All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Suuuuuuuper sad but beautiful

Anything by Renee Ahdieh, I started with The Rose and the Dagger which is sort of a YA retelling of 1001 nights

Omg I saw someone else reblog that four movies thing and thought to myself "Princess Bride and Grease 2 for sure" and then scrolled down and saw yours and got way too overexcited. I've never met another person who's even seen Grease 2 let alone likes it.

dude. dUDE. i love grease 2 SO much. dead serious. my aunt loves it too, and my sister and i would always watch it with her when we were younger and she was babysitting, so it has a VERY special place in my heart. and hot take: i like it WAY better than the first one. the music is catchier, the BOY changes for the girl, and michelle pfiefer!!! i have actually shown it to every person i’ve ever lived with and fully intend on keeping that tradition alive
