MY EXPERIENCE IN THE ROLEPLAYING COMMUNITY | accepting!
🎹 the worst roleplay trend i ever saw Passwords. I don't know if this is a big thing in the live action community? But in the animated/cartoon community (which I used to and occasionally frequent in) this used to be/still is? a big thing. People would require you to read their rules, send in a password before you can even interact with them. And I'm like, no? I shouldn't have to sign a contract to interact with someone. If I follow you, I genuinely want to interact with you. I might be slow to approach? But you can always approach me for a storyline, just so long as we're mutuals!
🚙 the one thing i will never do in roleplay Send anon hate. I feel like anon hate is just counter productive and I've never once sent it to anyone. I'm usually pretty good at approaching people if there's an issue. Or just removing myself from the problem if there's a conflict that cannot be solved? But anon hate just makes matters worse and it's absolutely unnecessary. I get it, confrontation is scary? I dislike it myself. But it's better to talk to the person and try to work it out? Than hide behind anonymous.
🔑 my favorite type of threads I'm pretty open to most type of threads (except smut) but my favorite thing to write is angst. I love causing my muses pain and making them suffer before they get their happy ending. It's just so fun tossing them into the mud and making them work their way out of it. Plus some of the storylines that come out of it is just some of my favorites.
