                          the male witch was alone– daphnee needing to check on ember. he wasn’t expecting her back just yet. but when he heard the door opening, he assumed it would be her. when he walked out to meet her, he was PLEASANTLY surprised to see red instead of blonde. though the smile faded as he saw the state she was in. there was too much blood. but, it was dried? what..

“ min–- ” he stepped closer to her. his blue eyes taking her in. she was okay. she’s okay! he repeated to himself over and over. seeing her like this though, it made his power rise, HE WAS ANGRY. who?! his mind screamed. he took another step toward her. his voice was deadly calm when he spoke again “ who? ” was all he asked.

         alex was in one of those odd moods for him, where he didn’t feel like doing anything. normally when you saw the scottish male, he was causing trouble or most likely doing something dangerous. yet today, he just felt more calm. it was a rare feeling for the temperamental witch.

with this rare emotion flowing through him, he knew exactly who he wanted to spend this time with. minnie was someone alex found himself spending a lot of time with. the two just seemed to enjoy each others company. 

   making his way into the bakery, alex smiled to himself seeing the redheaded female. making his way closer to her. “ feel like closing up early today? ” he asked, as he reached for one of the treats that was left out. laughing loudly when he realised he surprised her.

        “ you have to start paying attention to your surroundings. ” he teased.

         " ye keep starin' at me like that and one might think you find me attractive. ” were the teasing words that broke the SILENCE. his eyes were closed and he stood completely still. the spell was being repeated in his head and soon all the leaves and flower petals that were on the floor were floating around them.

opening his blue eyes, he met her gaze. “ it’s almost as lovely as you are. ” he flirted easily as he waited for her to say something. he had promised to show her something. anything. and this was what came to mind when he first agreed. 

     the next thing he would show her would be a bit more his speed. dangerous. which is why he started small.

                  “ aye love, that’s what make it fun. ” the permanent smirk growing slightly as he eyed the female that stood before him. placing his left hand on the wall near her head, he leaned in closer. knowing full well that the girl’s boyfriend would look up and take notice soon. “ come now darling, i’ll show you things he couldn’t. ” he smiled, showing his teeth and he nodded his head in the direction of the male in question. “ he’s a bit of of a bore. ” he commented, smirking again when he earned a giggle from the girl. 

before he could say anything else, he felt a hand grab his shoulder and was forced to turn away. quickly meeting the right hook of the girl’s boyfriend. “ keep your hands off my girl! ” earning a laugh from the scottish male which caused the girl to look concerned and her boyfriend to look at him as if he was crazy. “ that’s all you got MATE? no wonder your girl didn’t turn me away. ” he laughed out, causing people to turn in their direction. 

     alex’s eye quickly caught the familiar eye of violet. “ beautiful! ” he greeted right before he was hit again. making quick work of spitting out the blood that filled his mouth, alex couldn’t stop the smile that form as he looked back at the male. his teeth covered in blood that made him look as crazy as he actually was. “ my turn! ” was all he said right before punching the guy, knocking him straight to the floor, holding his face. “ nice chat love, see ya aroun’. ” he smirked as the girl smiled at him. he then turned to violet, spitting out the last of the blood before making his way to her.

      “ hello beautiful! ” tossing an arm over her shoulder, he led them outside.

                     he had never met her before, yet knew who she was instantly. his mind instantly went to a conversation he had with the red head that he cared so deeply for. ‘ you know, i used to have a sister. she was like my beat heart. without her i couldn't live, i didn't know how to.. ’ i used to have a sister. he knew what happened to the reid family, minnie and him had spoken of it, and he had been there for her. even if it hadn’t been around when it happened. it wasn’t something someone could get over. they had bonded over their loss of family. she had become his new family. yet here he stood, staring at her ACTUAL family. how could she not have told him?

would she even need want him around anymore? why pick the town crazy over actual family. shaking his head, he knew he shouldn’t be thinking like this. he should be happy for her. he was aware that THIS red head was a vampire and that minnie had a hard time with them, but who cares when you have your family back. PUTTING ON A SMILE, alex greeted her. “ you look pretty GREAT for a dead girl. ” he laughed at his words, his smile was genuine, even with his harsh words. he meant no ill-will. his friend no longer had to live without her. even if she had managed to learn how to. now that she was aware she could, she didn’t have to.

                    he had been texting with grace daphnee for most of the night. the wolves no longer held any excitement for him. he just wanted to get home. to see her. to see that she was okay. alex was more than aware that grace could take care of herself, but it was a full moon and she was all he cared about. he was NEVER one to worry. about anything or anyone. other than minnie. but daphnee changed all that.

as soon as he was able to, the young scottish witch left the bookstore with only one thing on his mind. grace. ‘ yeah. home. ’ she had texted. he couldn’t describe the emotion he was feeling. he wasn’t used to it. the trip home was a short one, he wasted no time in getting there and letting himself in. she wasn’t there. the frown that made it’s way on his face disappeared almost as soon as it appeared. the door was being opened again. “ you’re not allowed to leave this house for the next couple days. ” he said, jokingly, as he pulled her short frame into him.

                    “ y’know– last night wasn’t as entertaining as it SHOULD have been! ” the scottish witch told the irish vampire. “ i was hoping for some more– ” he opened his mouth and snapped his teeth together, showing that what he was hoping for. “ i was stuck with one of the wanna be wolfs– the shifters or whatever. ” he laughed at the memory of the shifter. “ bit of a grump. ” he complained.

“ i shood 'av set him on fire ” he comments to the vamp. after he spoke, he thought of a spell and waved his hand and soon a fire was in front of them. “ ye did somethin’ more excitin right? ”

                     alexander was radiating energy ; his power just itching to be released. he had been about to cast a small spell, just to release SOME energy when he saw her. standing there as beautiful as ever. “ my darling. ” he greeted the red head. eyes trailing her figure. “ you look absolutely stunning. ” he commented. he was wondering when he’d run into her, though his attention had been on his date the whole time. it was only then when she had stepped away to the loo to freshen up did he allow his mind to wonder. which is how the young witch found himself reminded by his need to release some energy. “ where’s the lucky lad that is your date? ” he questioned as his eyes scanned around looking for whoever she might be with.
