SHE CAN HEAR FOOTSTEPS from her bedroom. they’re approaching the front door and violet wonders if pretending she isn’t home will work. her damned curiosity gets the best of her and she peaks outside, spotting maddie on the porch. they lock eyes and violet gasps, jumping back from the window. the full moon night has left her feeling embarrassed and guilty. she’d hurt someone, hurt minnie and everyone had watched her become a monster... not to mention being naked in the following morning. maybe it was best if she just skipped town altogether. knocking came and her panic worsened. knowing she had the face the world eventually, violet opened the door before the girl could knock again. ❝ can you just... can you just go ahead and yell at me ?? i really just want to go back upstairs. ❞

FLIPPING THE BOOK AROUND TO read the synposis , tilly bit her lip in contemplation . her eyes pick up at the sight of another joining her in the aisle , smiling out of courtesy . it's only when she notices the familiar uniform that she decides to branch out . ❝ d'you know if this book is any good ? ❞ she held up the novel , fifty shades of grey . ❝ i heard mixed reviews about it . not sure if it's the kind of spice i'm looking for though , ❞ placing it down , she picked up the sequel . ❝ although , i heard it was originally a fanfiction for a vampire movie . weird , huh ? not sure how bdsm and vampirism would mix . but i guess if there's a will , there's a way ? ❞
