I still can't believe Pokeani gave us Ash's Riolu egg, Pikachu egg, Piplup egg, Cynthia Baby Gible(!) egg but they all sucked because Journeys ruined pokéggs designs.

So uh. Eggs.

And of course I couldn't just leave at that and started thinking of the possibility of varied egg designs even for pokemon of the same species

Maybe defined by the parents?

Because of course Chloe's eevee's egg should have flower patterns, but that's very different from May's Eevee egg (and would give me a in-universe reason for the change in eggs from Gen 1-4 to gen 5-7).

Does any of this matter to anyone else but me? Will I ever have a reason to showcase pokemon eggs in my AU? probably not.
