The amount of time Shepard and Kaidan spend just gazing at each other in the beginning of the game kills me. They’re here, finally. Kaidan's looking for signs this might still be the person he knew and loved. Shepard's looking for any sort of hope that they didn’t completely lose him the last time they “failed.”

There’s so much they both want to say... but talking isn’t going to fix things for them. They need time.

And now they might not get it.

so capcom really made jill look like the baddest bitch in raccoon city but didn’t let her say her iconic “I’ll give you S.T.A.R.S” line when finally killing nemesis in the end of the remake but only when she runs away from him during the gameplay

not to be incredibly soft and sad but. edward, knowing that human memories fade over time, wrote down every detail of esme’s baby’s face so that even if she did forget what he looked like, he’d be able to describe him to her.

years later she uses edwards description to sketch him, desperate for a look at her baby that she still misses so much. when she’s finished, she shows edward and he smiles bc “that could be a photograph, esme”
