An odd scratchy sound suddenly came from within the room, like two layers of velcro pulling away with a muted and moist quality. The Dog’s head snapped in the direction of the sound. His eyes widened, and he pushed his back further into the wall, covering his face with his hand so that his shaky breathing couldn’t be heard. He stared in shock and fearful disbelief at the moving corpse ahead of him, which was slowly lifting its upper body off the floor with its arms. The dried blood was what had made the unsettling sound, encrusted in the space between skin and floor like an imprint of red mud.

The boy, who had been dead, and who by all means should’ve stayed dead, had become perfectly alive. There was no hitching, pained intake of breath, no whiff of fresh blood; only faint confusion on his gore-encrusted face as he took stock of his surroundings in a slow, cautious swivel of the head.

Eyyyy it’s the Organ Donor!! I think he’s gonna be the babiest to me :)
