Oh, look! It was one of the cup boys that she dearly remembered! Of course, she was in a form completely unlike her old one, so she had quite the way of surprising him!
"Well, hello there, Cup! Fancy meetin' you here again!"

( @iaintnxsaint ) "I- It ain't much, but I got'cha all.. All this here." Sniffing quietly, Cup dug in his coat pockets to remove a VERY thick stack of cash, held together by an equally thick rubber band. "Figured you could use it better'n me."
“C.. Cuphead..”
“You know I ain’t swell at them mathematics.. h-how much is this?” Examining the wad of cash carefully, he seemed more worried than anything to receive what appeared to be a whole lot.
“Y-You can’t one-up me like this for Christmas..”
random Marianne starter for @iaintnxsaint
Another quiet day at the Inkwell Library (well, what can you expect; it's a Library), as Marianne was humming to herself, putting returned books back on their shelves. As soon as she heard the other though, a blush came on her face as she nearly fell off the ladder she was stood on, but gently came back down.
"W-welcome to Inkwell Library, child. Is... is there anything I can help you with?"

The kid’s yelling was the last straw.
Watching from the sidelines was fine and dandy, if not incredibly amusing. He could see the little mug trying to be stealthy in the shadows, wanting to “break his brother free” and the werewolf-child simply scarfing down anything remotely edible that was set in front of him.
Alright, perhaps there were no other straws than the two Kettle boys’ and the thin line of patience that he wielded. The spirits always crowded his thoughts in the first place, but with the clear voice rising above and beyond the others, it was something he was going to get over and done with immediately.
Very tempted to bang on the thing, but he refrained. A hearty knock sounded on Ana’s doorstep, a grumble or two coming from the bokor as he waited impatiently. Clad in nothing but fluffy, grey onesie, a night cap, and slippers, he was right pissed. It was five in the morning.
Call him a diva of sorts, but he needed his sleep.

The lanky toon woman squats down, the collar of her leather jacket popped. “Listen. Kid. I don’t care if yer loiterin’ around a casino ta gamble, but the pigs sure do, ‘n you don’t wanna have a ride in a police van. It ain’t as fun as it sounds.”
( @iaintnxsaint agreed to help field-test )
*She had worked quite a while on this particular robot; She had designed it with the same single-minded determination that her ‘father’ exhibited, the same determination that gave rise to creations like Metal Sonic, or the Death Egg; Those amazing, incredible things. And this creation, while still in its beta phases, seemed to be no different thus far- A red-and-grey hovering hybrid of tank, mech, and gunship- mostly gunship- one that sported rapidfire missile racks, arm-mounted laser blasters, gun turrets, and a shielding system that could create solid walls of light from chest and limb-mounted projectors... It was missing a great deal of planned armor, still being a prototype, but it was still protected rather well, and maneuvered better than she had expected. And that creation was en route to a certain world where a cupheaded bloke had agreed to help field-test the death egg robot-sized weapon, which she had dubbed the Egg Harbinger.*
*Of course, she was in her eggmobile at the moment, going to meet who she’d be going up against. If she just waltzed into this place in the Harbinger, chances are that the inhabitants of that world would see it as aggression, and nobody wanted that. That warmachine was still sitting back in a transport ship that was circling nearby. So for now, she just wandered, looking for a man named... Cuphead or something? Hmm.*

@iaintnxsaint:
An icy sting shot up his back.
“.. Whatever do you mean, young Mugman?” he replied coolly, smiling as he turned. “I’ve heard nothing of the sort– Well, I have heard such a retort, but perhaps it could relate to something else, that I’ve no clue what– Ah, that isn’t true, i- it’s rather ah, how do I– Well, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about at the present moment. Y- Yes.”
Grail’s composure quickly cracked, and he cleared his throat whilst looking elsewhere. Beads of sweat already dotted his cup.
“...Grail.”
A brow raised high, the little mug’s arms crossed firmly over his chest, a frown coming to settle on his face.
“I gone ‘n done this too many darn times to be an air-head on the matter,” he said, his little shoe beginning to tap impatiently against the grass. There were too many telltale signs to bypass the fact that Grail was trying his darnedest to avoid the truth.
“I’ll start out with this: Has Cuppy gone ‘n gotten himself into some deleterious shenanigans again? Yes, or no?”
