How to Make a Yearly Time Capsule?     

Each year, brings a new set of memories to cherish. Parents age, children grow up and move away, and new memories slowly erase the old ones. That’s why a yearly time capsule is a great way to celebrate and reflect on the little details that make each year special. Create a yearly time capsule that will include letters, drawings, photos and video/audio recordings.

It's never too late to make one. And in a few months you can start a new one for 2017!

Time Capsule Ideas You can choose what to include in your time capsule – memories of the present day. Here are a few ideas:

Print Free Downloadable Time-capsule List and fill it in, listing today’s date, your name, favorite things, hobbies etc.

Include today’s newspaper.

Take some photos of your bedroom, kitchen or art studio.

Write a letter to your children.

Making Your Time Capsule After you've combined all you want to include, it’s time to assemble your container. Include all your chosen time capsule valuables, and seal your box. And finally you will label box with your name(s), and date when box can be opened.

Now hide it away, and try not to open it until the chosen date/year!
