Fenrir, July 5th, deck A, and is the holidays too general a topic? -JFG
Nah, that's actually a pretty good one cause I have a calendar to work with.
So with that in mind I drew based on dates (sort of).
I started with Friday (which I'm not sure if you and yours actually celebrate anything on but it is the solstice so at least moderately holiday-y in a seasonally significant way). The Three of Wands came up.
After that I drew for the following weekend (and Monday, technically). This one gave me the Nine of Wands.
Then I drew for Christmas and its Eve. The Six of Wands came up here.
Then I drew for "the week following that". (Because vague is okay.) And got the Seven of Pentacles.
Then I drew for New Year's (Eve and Day, like with Christmas) and it came up Knight of Wands.
And then I think you celebrate stuff after that, right? So I drew for "the days after that" and turned over the King of Pentacles.
Now I was going to go over these all separate at first but man that is a lot of Wands right there. Wands are really energetic. You seem in for some busy holidays. At the start there with the Three we have what actually seems to be a more passive idea, because it signifies somebody waiting for events to occur, but it's not just sitting around twiddling your thumbs kind of waiting. This is more like the baking cookies and buying presents kind of "waiting" - making sure everything is prepared and things are going as they mean to. It also implies that many things have already been done in order to achieve what is about to come to pass.
The Nine of Wands continues this prepared sort of "active" waiting idea, but specifically brings up the idea that what is about to come is a challenge which must be overcome. (Which sounds about like the holidays to me lol but I don't know how yours usually go.) It might be worth noting that this card also hints a warning about paranoia? I'm not sure if that's actually relevant or not though.
The Six of Wands seems to be a good result here, it talks about achievements being recognized and heroes* being honored. It's also about recognizing and honoring the people who helped and inspired you along the way, if you are the one who has achieved your goals. This seems pretty appropriate for Christmas if it's a time of reflection and gratitude for you and your folks.
* that word doesn't seem entirely correct for the idea I'm trying to get across but hopefully it's close enough.
The Seven of Pentacles is about pausing to assess yourself and reflection of your goals and accomplishments. It denotes a time to ask yourself how reality compares with your expectations. Generally, this is about something that's ongoing - whatever you're working on isn't over, and how you process your progress up to this point will ideally inform the rest of your actions about it. The earthy Pentacles here also signify a pause (maybe a rest) from the firey energy of the Wands
which then returns in the Knight of Wands! The Knight of Wands is usually a person, probably a fire sign and probably younger. They're very passionate but easily distracted - except when they dedicate themselves to something, which they will then seek to accomplish in earnest as quickly as possible. They're very loyal and generally a good time to have around unless they're upset. (A possibility, if this isn't describing a person, is that these or similar qualities of yourself will come into play those days.)
Then everything seems to wrap up with the King of Pentacles. This represents someone who's driven by things in the physical world and used to working hard. He values order and doesn't like taking big risks, but he's also invested in making others happy (and very good at it). This could be specifically somebody who is wealthy in a monetary sense, but might not be. The earth suit again refocuses into a time of mindful rest from the massive energy output of the Wands, and that'll probably carry over into the post-holiday period.
