When M loses patience with the way that James Bond conducts himself while out on missions she thinks she has the ideal solution. She has no idea she's about to change the agent's life forever.

This is a story with a harrowing world building in which otherkind recently have gathered their freedom with the exception of catpeople, who still are treated like slaves. The story explores–among a lot of hurt/comfort and angst–the idea of how consent can be given even given the unbalanced power between the pair, here Bond as the very reluctant slave owner and catQ as the slave. CatQ has no illusions about his place in the world, but is not a broken person. He knows what he wants and tries to convince Bond to give it to him, despite Bond’s fear of taking advantage. Even if the story ends on a happy note, the world, we got to know, is left as it was: with all the unjust laws and regulations, which almost costs catQ his life.

Only_1_Truth: Cattails

When Bond is finishing a mission and trying to return from Russia, he doesn't expect to get tangled up with a catboy on the way out.

This story is playing in a very similar world to Blacktail. Catpeople like Q are mere objects, at least in Russia, where the story takes its beginning. By accident, Bond meets catQ and decides to take him back to England, from where he had been abducted several years back.

The story explores the difficulty for catQ to find his place, most notably with regard to his family. He is afraid of telling them about his ordeal. Something, even Bond has trouble to process.
