….you don’t know how close I came to throwing the computer just now. Especially after picturing Hadley Grantaires look of defeat during Drink With Me. And Hugo’s Grantaires on stage breakdown. And Georges face during the firing squad.
YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I COULDN’T DO THAT TO HIM. I picture there faces too and I just went ‘no no no, my precious no.’ So threw him in with the murder squad because imagine Grantaire who gets to the point where he is so mad about watching this dick kill someone that he confronts them.

Kinda hate you for that last bit.
I had to throw some feels in there somewhere. The original had Grantaire working in the suicide part and not being able to cope, but I couldn’t do that to him.
My first musical experience was Les Mis. I was eight and Philip Quast was the Play School host and Javert. I didn't make the connection between the two until after and my parents took me to the stage door. My resulting freak out scared the whole cast. I don't remember much else except having an emotional connection to Enjolras and screaming when he died. It is sad that they no longer do that stunt but seeing Enjolras hanging by one leg upside down off the barricade is one of my oldest memories.
come into my ask and tell me about your favourite/first theatre experience
I remember you telling me this story at Sam and Harry’s Les Mis night. I will always strongly believe this is the reason you are actual Javert without the obsession (yet) to crave that criminal. I feel you with Enjolras’ death though, oh boy, do I.

I only saw the trailer for that game today and my first thought was “OMG! It’s the Amis!” So either I am right alongside you, or some smart ass was like “Hey, what would happen if Les Mis had more assassins in it?”
I think it's the latter, in retrospect, but the character Arno is actually Grantaire, I kid you not. He's so sarcastic and down about his past mistakes. WE JUST FOUND THÉNARDIER'S GANG! I do have one bone to pick with the game, unlike the others, this one has no French accents. They say French words, but that's it. Why make all your previous games with slight accents (Itialian, American etc) but not add French for the French game?

Well I'm not dead, and no hospital trip just yet. So I don't think you'll have to worry about going on a hospital visit.

You are Harry Watson. Running or walking, you are still kickass.
I'm going to revel in this for awhile while I go to work and think about how to respond to the text she sent me asking if I enjoyed myself...
Thank you.

Ouch. Personally, I don’t think they know what they are missing out on. Still, sounds like you walked away when you could have stayed so well done you. And remember, your friends are always there to talk.
I literally ran away.
My housemate called and I faked an emergency, said bye and ran for the bus.
I never run...
