Carrie kept busy so that she didn't have time to think about how lonely she was these days. Everyone around her was getting married, having children and starting a new chapter in their lives and she was still in a comfortable place because maybe she wasn't to put herself out there in fear of rejection because of what lay under the beautiful smile and clothes. "Of course I take time for myself. I go to this cafe at least once a week and just sit in the back and read or nap, they let me nap can you believe it? And then I go shopping." She just left out the little fact that it was mostly to buy activities for the children to play but still, it counted right? "It's sweet that you care though, Miles, you're about the only one that understands and doesn't push me. I appreciate that, I hope you know it."
