The characterization kicks ass and I loooooove the story and the relationship and the GOBS of h/c. If you like equidan and you haven’t read it I highly recommend it. :D
hmm, for the prompt thing, how about Dual has been meaning to involve his long time old red flame into his and Signless into their shenanigans and Darkleer is being hella awkward and stuff, because he's just like 'oh man, they're both too hot, fiddlesti%s'
“I am uncertain why this is necessary.” Darkleer fiddles with the strap of his quiver. He is uncomfortable. They’re heading out of town and it’s creeping towards sunrise and he does not want to deal with daywalkers. Dualscar had insisted though and Darkleer’s traitor heart always wanted to make him happy. “I know about your other relationships. I do not need to know more.”
OK, LISTEN UP. I have a friend who is AWESOME and deserves more followers. She loves Homestuck, Sherlock, hot men like Tom Hiddleston, she's AMAZING at drawing, and she deserves an Order of Merlin First Class. SO GO FOLLOW HER. [LINK] No, really. Go ahead. I'll wait.
D --> Can somebody bring me sweets D --> I w001d've asked Sollu%, but I'm unsure if he's on
Dear Sherlock, I have been wondering, how exactly did you give birth to Hamish? What was the labor like? Did John stay with you through the entire ordeal? (I don't know if this question has already been asked) P.S. Hamish, what's your favorite food?
My favourite food is jammie dodgers at the moment! -HWH
Well, I had a c-section. We did go in thinking that I could give birth naturally but I couldn’t in the end, the labour was going on too long and it was too risky so I had a c-section instead, which was the wiser choice - natural birth is more risky for male pregnancies, though it can be done.
The labor was long and incredibly painful. John was there the entire time and assisted me through it all. I may have shouted some rather rude things to him at the time but he was a great support to me, he rubbed my back and played with my hair to relax me and held my hand while I was just getting through the first load of contractions.
Then I was ready and I needed to push, I don’t remember all that much as my memory is fogged slightly with the pain. So John can tell you of the next part. -SH
Well, he was so good. Crushing my hand and trying to push but it wasn’t enough. It was to be expected, most male births end in a c-section.
He had tears pouring down his face and he was breathing as best as he could, his normally pale face quite red and he looked exhausted but quite determined.
Then the doctor told me the best course of action was a c-section because Hamish didn’t seem to want to come out! He was probably saying “excuse me, I am warm and comfortable in my home, what is all this chaos about?" hehe.
And anyway, they prepared Sherlock quickly for a c-section and I held Sherlock’s hand but also watched as the doctors opened my husband up and got our baby out. That cry was a noise I will never forget, that brand newborn baby cry that was just the best noise in the whole wide world! They cleaned him up very quickly and gave the baby straight to me and I passed him to Sherlock.
Sherlock looked absolutely exhausted but so, so happy. We were both crying tears of joy and relief. While the doctors fixed Sherlock up down below we held Hamish and could not take our eyes off of him! -JW
Yes, I do remember the c-section. And the moment I saw the doctors lift Hamish out. Hamish’s cry was the most beautiful noise I had ever heard in my life. I wanted him in my arms the moment they took him out of me. I needed him. The doctors quickly cleaned him up and John and I were both watching them, well, our baby, and they gave him to John and I felt much better with our son being in his daddy’s arms, but I needed him to be in mine. But John knew that and he was instantly passed to me and I just… I am not an emotional man all that much but holding my son for the first time made me cry because I was so happy and the love I felt for this little life was astonishing and wonderful. This was Hamish, our little baby boy, John’s and mine, our son. We had made him and we sat like that for a family for quite a while, just holding each other. -SH
