For the WIP ask, tell us about Lost In A Good Book?

That’s going to be my next fic after I’ve finished Slipstream. It’s going to deal with the concept of L-Space (from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels). Basically, John and Sherlock are chasing a criminal into an obscure second-hand bookshop and get lost in that shop because it’s apparently bigger on the inside and bends time and space ...

📖What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation, and why? 

📗If you could have a conversation with any author, living or deceased, who would it be and what would you ask them?

- No David Fincher adaptation has ever disappointed me (dragon tattoo, gone girl, fight club, benjamin button, etc) dude just has a knack for making good adaptations. If i hear he's turning a book into a movie i take it as a book recommendation. I have so many adaptations i adore but his are just so reliably good lol

- I would sit down with Robin hobb with a list of all the most damning lines in her book series and say "explain yourself" (i also have some Questions for her about clerres and the catholic church)

Definitely an ‘adjustment’. It’s like he’s grabbing a tire iron. Makes me light-headed just thinking about it. *swoon*

I feel just like you. And re TFP, remember that Mofftiss said that there will be a lot of things happening in the last 30 min?

Yeah, I remember them saying there was SO MUCH PLOT in the episode but that doesn’t help me feel better about them tying up loose ends? Or at least not considering the way they’re laid out the season so far because they’re building on that. And they have to deal with Euros/Moriarty too somehow.

There are a lot of strange things in HLV. I mean, A L O T. I've been reading all the meta and you guys are brilliant. But they really left us in the dark - almost every theory is possible at this point. I particularly would love for the second part of HLV not to be real, and I can see points in favour and against that. It's just that I've found some mean posts about this discussion on my dash and it makes me sad... It's just a theory. Series has a lot to and hop

Thank you, @iamjustreading. HLV definitely has a lot to answer for, and I hope they don’t leave us hanging. EMP is just one possibilitiy. That’s it. It’s fun to look at all the inconsistencies and wtfery of HLV through this lens as a possible explanation. It makes more sense to me than just taking what we see at face value and hoping for the best, you know? As for the wank? I’m not sure the why of it, but it’s not going to stop any of us from enjoying the show the way we want and I hope it doesn’t hinder your enjoyment either. xoxo
