What IS wooden overcoats… I’m intrigued

Oh my God my new friend strap the fuck in.

Wooden Overcoats is an audio drama (the good kind of podcast). A fantastic British sitcom about competing funeral homes on a small Channel island.

It’s hilarious, very clever, and has incredible characters (voiced by some amazing people) that will rip your heart out. The 4 main characters are all my favorite and least favorite people in the world. And every single supporting character is so colorful and hilarious and touching and silly.

It is narrated by a mouse. I couldn’t recommend it more. It is. So so so very good. It is a complete story, not dauntingly long, and recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special live show, which is what you presumably saw me freak out about yesterday.

Again. Cannot recommend it enough. Google it for links to listen on every conceivable podcast platform.

Sorry I’m late to the party; I only just found out about this today, and decided to try and play catch-up.....

My day one picture... I’m really sorry about the quality of my work and this picture; it’s Simon in the middle of telling a scary story to you (as Runner 5). I was rushed for time, and I’m really sorry.

My day 2 picture: Say hello to Witch!Sam, or Hogwarts!AU Sam! As you can tell, he kinda messed up his potion, and is in the process of apologizing to Professor Snape. (My HC is that he would be a Hufflepuff, but I can see him in Gryffindor, too).
