if it's any consolation, both gyp & retard are in the vocabulary and I have to actively remember not to use them around FR because blah blah butthurt. I'm sorry you're getting harassed over it :\

It's not even really harassment; it's just irritating. The whole reason it's 'offensive' is that people refuse to separate Romani from Gypsy.

Retard is a word that I don't really use, although it literally just means slow, and the last time someone got on my case was when I was talking about sheet music, so to just avoid the whole 'wow why are you being such an idiot' I just stopped using the word altogether. I've never called anyone specifically a retard, but apparently if in reference to one thing it's offensive, it's offensive all the time.

(sometimes I wonder if someone will get mad at me for Chinos because excuse me those are my dress pants thanks)
