       It didn’t matter how many years it had been or little she might have dreamed while she was froze, she would have missed her son no matter what and almost forgot everything else for a moment.  Ava wanted to hold him and apologize despite believing nothing could make up for the pain.

“I always knew you would get tall.”  A proud smile rested on her face, wiping back the tears.  Her vision might not be perfect, but she could see enough.

Hux sneered at the small glass. There was some viscous liquid on the bottom that made him question the other’s choice. But well… he didn’t have anything to lose and downed the drink fast. “That tastes suspiciously strong”.

Poe’s fist thumped against the worn table the moment the glass was empty. “That’s it!” He settled back into his chair with a stifled laugh, reaching for the bottle once more.

“If it was weak, would it even be worth it?”

"Yeah, actually. Now that you mention it." Poe hadn't been paying close enough attention until Hux had brought it up, but now that he was made aware, he couldn't seem to hear anything but the excited thumping from Hux's chest.

He titled his head, a coy smirk on his lips, and swam a little bit closer to the human.

"Is it 'cause of me?"

The ginger watched the other man take his wrist and bring his hand up but didn’t pull away. He observed attentively as Kylo nudged on his fingers with his nose and brushed them against his full lips, and still didn’t pull away. “What are you doing? Ren, let g—”, That wasn’t something he was expecting at all, to see the knight so willingly take Hux’s fingers into his mouth like that. The general wasn’t one to be at a loss for words, but Kylo’s gesture left him with his mouth agape.

Kylo licked Hux’s fingers while maintaining their intense eye contact. He was lowering himself to do this and he didn’t mind. “Hux... I’m an idiot...please forgive me and...” He pressed a kiss on his palm, “do anything to me.”
