Romana didn’t recognise the other man, but she did recognise another Time Lord when she saw one. “Is it customary for renegades to spend time on Earth?” She asked conversationally, as if it was perfectly natural to approach a total stranger and begin talking to them, “I can’t say that I really understand it, yet here I am again.”

Technically, she didn’t know for sure that he was a renegade, but it seemed a reasonable assumption.

Being held in a lovely UNIT cell wasn't his ideal day at the office so to speak, but it was part of a larger plan that he was very much interested in. Moriarty had agents in most organisations, and UNIT was no exception, when he heard the Master was back and had been locked up he thought of no better opportunity to meet this individual himself as well as have some fun at the same time. To say he had been ever so eager to walk straight into UNIT’s arms would have been an understatement, he knew one of their other extraterrestrial captives had leaked information concerning some of his latest business deals, helping aliens on Earth commit crime on the planet, the most recent was helping a group of Slitheen get away with several disappearances and skin swaps. He would have to deal with the traitor alien later, he was still learning about the intergalactic larger world but he was learning quickly, once Jim had his mind set on something it was very hard to change it.

So as he sat at the back of his cell he looked at the individual in the opposite cell. “Must say I'm disappointed they didn't have the foresight to separate us, but then I'm not much of a threat compared to you am I? Just like ole me” he said with a light chuckle. “I must say I'm a fan, although I do wonder, is your capture part of a bigger plan or did you decide to take holiday. Sorry to disappoint, they don't give five-star service here” he mused, not moving from the dark corner he had made his temporary home.

I feel like her journey with the master is sad > mad > disappointed

I just had this overall idea that links back to that SECOND idea, that what if Koshei visited the decomishioned TARDIS before. Maybe she tried to convince him to steal her because she was always unlocked - but he told a friend about her instead and the rest is history. But she was still his first choice and now as they crash against one another in time she's SO sad.

He was dead, wasn't he? After christmas, he was dead?

Dr. Martha Jones had known the time lord could be capable just as well as the Doctor simply because of her association - worse, considering he ruined her family's life - in terms of surviving. However, the last time face popped up was due to everyone else also being him.

Well, being him in their clothes.

And then not.

One would presume he was dead - no, regenerated. And yet...

She gave a skeptic look at him. Not of rightful anger or heartbreaking confusion but, of why? Why was he not gone? Wasn't there was one with big hair and the cybermen? Or the one associated with the company Vore? Why did this one.... linger?

It was a better word than haunt.
