Wanda snuck quietly to the room she shared with Ian, it was late and all she wanted was to feel his embrace. She crawled into bed and pushed the snoring man to the side to give her some room, resting her head against his chest.

"You take up so much room you big lump." Wanda laughs.

I know I’ve been saying this to everyone I can, but I’m sorry. I’m sorry for being a terrible friend. Don’t even try to argue with me on this one. Yes, we’ve both lost the people who mean the most to us. But I don’t deserve you. I don’t. You should be able to live freely, without having to worry about whether I’ve fallen down or whether I’ve slept enough.

But thank you. Without you I would not have been able to get through what I have. I wish I could thank you in a better way, but by the time you get this, I should be long gone.

Human Or Alien?

Emrys had decided to go on a solo raid, leaving Axel sleeping in the woods near the small town they stopped at. It was early morning and he really wasn't paying attention until the presence of an aura alerted him that he was not alone. He peaked around the corner, seeing a tall man with blond hair facing away from him. He was heading in the direction of the camp. Had the Seekers caught up already?

The demi-god pulled out his knife, silently moving until the point was pressed into the mans back. Emrys had spent hie whole life fighting, the last couple years before the bugs came he'd spent as an assassin, so he knew just where to put the knife. Just where to stab to make it so this one couldn't move. 'Move and I cut through your spinal cord.'

Melanie laid in bed, staring at the ceiling, thoughts strolling through her mind. She couldn’t stop thinking of Jared, she knew it was her fault he was gone. Gone. She chuckled morbidly at the word, knowing it was really just a nicer way of saying dead. But saying dead was worse than saying gone, wasn’t it?

She shut out the thought and lazily dragged herself out from the sheets and rolled onto the floor with a noticeable plop. Melanie groaned before sitting up and rubbing her back, pushing herself to her feet. After recovering, she groggily let her feet lead her around the caves, eventually finding their way towards the fields. Melanie let her tired legs give out, weakly falling on the ground.
