My Room | #Acrylic on canvas | Artist #IanSchleiss I picked this up several months ago from an art exhibit at @imagineartatx. This info on Ian was tucked inside the back of the canvas: "Ian lives with his parents. As an adult, Ian's #disability produces a need for long term support needs from another adult. His parents fill this role by managing Medicaid Waiver dollars to provide peer support specialists that serve as community based attendants to take Ian into the community for work and play. This #abstract expression is Ian's 'room', a place he lays his head on his bed at night." (at Imagine Art)
