LMAOOO for context, JAC the organisation conducting IAT is delaying the admit card release putting the entire subreddit in a meltdown this whole day
Something I’ll sometimes do for references to make my fanart more accurate is check if there’s official renders on ArtStation provided by staff. One of the outsourcing companies for IAT, GFactory, ended up having It’s About Time renders which brings me to ask about this specific one.
For the Cortex renders, there is one where he is holding a watch. Far as I’m concerned though, said watch is never used in game. At most, there is an idle animation where he gets a text and shoots at his phone. So maybe it was for a cut idle animation? But said model, to my knowledge, isn’t even accessible in the files like the 3D relics going off the Cutting Room Floor. Could easily just be a prop made specifically for the images here that was never intended for the game, but that seems a bit pointless when the previously mentioned phone could’ve been used instead.

I literally mean this from the bottom of my heart to the tip of every being in my body when I say I love fan art so much. I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me just seeing either beautifully well drawn characters or fun and silly scenarios people come up with. If you make art, you make the world a better place. You certainly brighten my day every time I see it. It brings me so much joy.
