I don't think Raina is exactly a Big Bad, at least not in the way Garrett was. I think, like Ward, she's driven and drawn to her wants. So she wants to be part of the gifted. She wants to be special and that puts her in line with all these forces that are in a huge Good and Evil struggle. She'd hop in bed with SHIELD in a second if it meant that she could become gifted. There is nothing wrong with wanting that for yourself. In our reality people usually develop that in themselves, but in this universe it's something that you can get, a commodity. But it's not exchanged with money in this universe it's something that is given by being around these powerful people. So Raina is like a little pinball bouncing around these forces, between good and evil just hoping some of that power will rub off on her and she can feel gifted/special some how. That's what I think motivates Raina.

Don't know if I'd go that far. I mean if she were to get inside SHIELD she'd probably spring Ward. Then who knows what would happen.

The first time I saw Rocky Horror Picture Show I was a college freshmen. I was studying film, and no one told me that people yelled and threw stuff at the screen. So I go to this thing and it's a fucking zoo and I was so mad. I thought I was going to see a movie and there was symbolism and a message in the text of the film and I'm trying to break it down, but i had all these animals yelling and throwing spoons. I couldn't hear the sound and people were in the way of the projection of the screen. I was so mad. This is what it was like growing up in the dark ages of gay, my little gays. If you lived outside the big cities you didn't know about Rocky Horror Picture Show or what they did. And you learn things on the fly when you go to college. Thank Tilda that there is internet now.

You’re right. There’s been no time taken developing her. It’s sad. But. I still really like her. I dig that her ability set isn’t so… showy as other ninja, but she just is really good with a ridiculously wide variety of weapons.
All she does is throw things lol. It gets old so quickly. D:
