  He doesn’t take the offered hand, overall unconcerned with the fact that he fell off the bed.  He doesn’t even make an effort to get up, fully tangled in all the bedding he took with him when he fell the short distance.  “Are you sure?  Only two hours?  I could have sworn it was something closer to a year and nine months.”

      After a moment, he seemingly changes his mind and does take Kabuto’s hand.  “I must have had quite the dream…”

He smiles as he helps him up and lets him either stand up or sit back on the bed, “It must’ve been a good short sleep then. It’s almost going to be 3 o’clock. But do you want to wake up to finish curse mark subject No. 6039′s examinations or do you want to go back to sleep? I can take care of that if you want me to.”

yep, my point exactly! this isn’t directed at anyone, but i think it’s a very easy pitfall for people to fall into when writing villains, wherein they forget their humanity

Look I know my father wasn't the best and he made mistakes, but it isn't right to say that about him. He's still a good man despite his flaws
