"Touko, what is sex?"

The tea green-haired boy was so innocent in his question, not realizing how it set off a bit of a reaction in his female companion.

She nearly spat her drink.

The boy sat still, staring at her. It wasn't something well explained in Trainer School, and sure there were pamphlets around, she never really bothered. She was caught up in being the best trainer around, plus N took up her mind after the incident.

"Y-you see, N.. Sex is where.."

He raised a hand and smiled.

"I have already investigated and read through many text. It's been rather fulfilling in terms of the biological reasoning but.." He leaned closer, his eyes full of interest.

"Why is it that humans involve themselves in such activity?"

The girl pressed the bridge of her nose, thinking with a bit of a blush on her face.

"Some people do it for fun, and some people do it as a form of showing and confirming love.."

He wasn't so convinced.

"Humans are such confusing creatures." he said, now moving closer to her.

"N..?"

"Perhaps a demonstration would be more sufficient?"

"N-No.. It's a thing people do only when they feel intimate enough..!"

"I see.."

He smiled and pressed his forehead against hers.

"I cannot imagine me doing such things.."

She stared at him, unsure how to feel.

21: Then there’s tongue

The male Ibuki gently kissed his counterpart, her mind only thinking of it as just another kiss..

”..!!” She tensed up a bit, feeling his tongue trace against her lips. She didn’t know what to do, but her body seemed to act on its own accord, opening her mouth to allow entrance.

He was acting purely on instinct, letting his tongue glide along hers. Their cheeks burned red and they stayed like that for some time, letting their tongues coil, taking in the texture.. But he parted away, panting.

“S-Sorry..”

The Morning After..

Proton awoke first, stirring lazily in the sheets. He was bare, his hair a mess and his articles of clothing, familiar jacket and hat, tossed haphazardly at the foot of the bed.

He sat up, rubbing his eyes. Sleep hadn't ever felt that good since..

He looked to his side and looked over the girl sleeping peacefully. Mars.

Proton lay back down, his arm wrapping around her. His lips placed a kiss on the sleeping woman's bare shoulder.

She stirred peacefully, making a soft sound, then fell asleep once more.

"I love you.." He whispered, still confused on how a guy like him said these words.. Still, it was a turning of a new leaf.. She was his redemption, in a way..

"I love you too.."
