It wasn't that Ashi preferred solitude, she after all had grown up with her sisters and they were sometime each other's only source of comfort and support. She just didn't want to trouble others nor was use to such positive interactions, still getting use to all of the world she never knew. There was so much she didn't understand still but wanted to learn and see it all, experience she was denied growing up in that dark cave.

"...less you want to stay of course, I don't know if my company is all that great though."

The sudden contact had been unexpected, almost causing the young woman to jump a bit. Ashi felt the warmth of the blanket put around her shoulders, hands reaching out to pull it tighter against her. Cold was never really an issue, her first encounter with Jack had been in the snow and it didn't even bother her than but than again they had been fighting. Adrenaline pumping, keeping the cold at bay and mind focused on the task at the moment. The cold and it's feeling the farthest thing from her mind during that time.

"Uh, thank you..."

She was still getting use to such acts of kindness, especially from anyone that wasn't Jack. Even with him, she was still unsure of certain actions. Luckily, the old samurai was patient and kind with her progress, something she appreciated more than she knew.

"Arn't you cold?"

“You’re a REAL peach.”

There was sarcasm dripping from Ashi’s word as she spoke about the red-head, a sigh escaping her lips. They might’ve been on ‘better’ terms now, more or less, but there was still some animosity between them. Not that the young female warrior hadn’t tried to be nice, but Alice was very much hostile any chance she got. It got irritating sometimes, only further by Ashi’s knee-jerk reactions sometimes and spitting venom back at the other in kind.

Least she was trying to work better on how she handle her anger. Little by little, the samurai that had taken her under his wing helping her quell the storm under the surface.

“...so, what does he want?”

"Thanks for the clarification, I am fully aware what a ghost is."

It wasn't like this was the first ghost she had encountered before after all, having had to deal with the specter that had plagued a certain samurai and his concious when they first met. Whether that spiritual figure had been flesh and blood before was up for debate or a manifestation of the guilt ridden concious of her adoptive father was up for debate. Whatever it was, the strike it had made when she tried to intervine was real.

So, this new spirit infront of them was met with an air of caution and suspicion. Ashi ready just encase it proved to be hostile towards them, hoping it only appeared incorporeal and she could physically react if needed.

A different version of The Samurai. He wears black Gi with red highlights, has red eyes, some lighter streaks in his hair. He's worth the fight. Trust me he can keep up,. Double dog dare you too spar him.

"Though, being Jack's double, it would stand to reason his skills are on par with Jack's own...though I suspect they have their own style. It would be interesting to spar with him, but I don't know if asking someone I don't know to an all out brawl would be polite upon a first meeting."
