IC 1848 - The Soul Nebula !
IC 1848, also known as “The Soul Nebula, ”The Embryo Nebula,” Sharpless 2-199, LBN 667, and Westerhout 5, is an emission nebula with an associated cluster of young hot stars located ~6,500 light-years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia. IC 1848 actually refers to an open cluster embedded in the nebula but is most often used to identify this target.

Heart [IC 1805] & Soul (aka Embryo) [IC 1848] Nebula
Heart and Soul mosaic by Astro Gabe Via Flickr: The Heart and Soul Nebulae (IC1805 and IC1848) lie around 7500 ly distant in the constellation Cassiopeia. These emission nebulae show dark dust lanes within ionized hydrogen gas. In the center of the Heart nebula, the open cluster Melotte 15 contains several bright stars that are up to 50 times more massive than our sun. The intense radiation from these stars drive the output of this emission nebula. This is a six panel mosaic taken over two nights with 2 hours of Ha per panel.
