It’s the moooost wonderful tiiiiiime of the yeeeeear!

Every-ish year, I offer to send my partners & followers IC holiday cards/letters from my muse(s). I’d like to get an earlier start this year so I don’t have to leave anyone to last minute. If you’re interested, here’s how it works:

If you want a card (or cards), you have to provide me with your mailing address. You also have to provide me with a legal mailing name, as I’ve had mail addressed in-character returned to me. I promise that I don’t hold on to any of this info beyond the holidays. I ask that you respect my personal information with the same courtesy.

I live in the US, but I’m happy to ship cards all over the world. I just can’t promise it’ll arrive on time, depending on where you live.

I have multiple muses--Hector Rodriguez, Silas Cobb, Robert Lutece, Julian Petrie, and Daniel Wales--that you can request cards from. I’m limiting requests to two  per muse. In other words, your ONE character can request up to TWO cards from my FIVE characters. If you have multiple muses, the same rule applies. Every one of your characters can have up to two letters from my roster of trash. Within reason, of course.

If you want a card that is verse specific, please specify it when you ask for them. I’ll otherwise choose the verse, or default to Rapture-themed letters.

If you want cards, please submit a request via askbox or PM by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7th.  Again, I’ll need your mailing address, name, and the characters you want cards from and to. Don’t worry if our muses haven’t really interacted yet--I’m happy to send you something anyway so long as we’re mutuals.

IC HOLIDAY CARDS

Thanksgiving is over and it’s time to accept our lord & savior, Santa. More, it’s about that time where I offer to send all ya’ll in-character holiday cards. This’ll be the third (or maybe fourth?) year I’m sending ‘em out, and the process is the same as always. For those who don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, let me explain.

I currently have five active (or at least semi-active) muses in the BioShock community--Silas Cobb, Hector Rodriguez, Daniel Wales, Robert Lutece, and an OC, Julian Petrie. To celebrate the holidays with my fellow mods, I send out in-character letters as these idiots to people who want ‘em. I don’t ask or expect to receive them back, though exchanges are more than welcome. But, to avoid overwhelming myself or letting anyone down, there are a couple of stipulations:

1. If you want cards, you have to give me your mailing address. It has to use your real name, too (at least first name & last initial). I’ve had cards returned to me, even properly addressed, because I posted the card to a character’s name instead. I assure you that I do not keep anybody’s address or information on file after the cards go out. If you’re still not comfortable, I totally get it. Maybe next time.

2. I happen to live in the U.S., but I can send cards around the world, so don’t let that stop you from requesting them. Since I’m not keeping anybody’s info, I humbly request that you grant me the same respect with my name & return mailing address.

3. Because I have too many goddamn muses, I’m limiting it to three cards per person. This means you can have a maximum of three letters/cards from any of my muses to your muse. Or, you can have a maximum of three letters/cards from one of my muses to three of yours. Or, you can pick and choose whatever of my muses and whatever of your muses in whatever verse you want. The possibilities are (in theory) endless!

4. You have until Saturday, December 12th to request cards via my askbox. I like to get them out as early as possible to make sure they arrive in time for the holidays. It also gives me time to resend anything that might get lost or returned to me.

5. If you don’t celebrate Christmas and/or are uncomfortable receiving something Christmas themed, please specify that with your request. All of my characters celebrate (or at one time celebrated) Christmas, so that’s their default. By that same token, some of my characters are insensitive pricks. Please keep that in mind when you make your requests, and remember that these cards are going to be directed at your muse, not you.

6. For the sake of my sanity, these cards are only offered to mutuals. Specifically, you need to be a mutual of whatever muse you are requesting a card from. That said, I’m happy to send stuff to characters I’ve barely interacted with, or have yet to interact with. I can’t guarantee it’ll be a very personal card, but I’ll give it my best effort!

7. As with everything RP related, I have the right to refuse requests. I don’t see this happening, but y’know, common courtesy.
