Log #3 - The Homunculus project
18th Sun of the Sixth Umbral Moon, 1579
I have communicated with the creature. He insists on calling himself by X’elo’s name, so for the sake of practicality, I shall call him Maimhov, for now.
Maimhov is perhaps the most narcissistic, arrogant, stubborn and bitter prick I have ever had the pleasure to meet in my entire life. You give him an ilm, he seeks to take a malm. Like an imbecile, he seeks to make an enemy out of me. Me. The person who is granting him a body. If anything, he should be under my thumb.
I’d use the soul of someone more pleasant, but that would require me to actually kill another person or use a voidsent soul. Frankly, neither option seems safe or practical. I’ll use the soul of this little stain of shit even if it means making him utterly miserable. Perhaps I’ll tolerate him for a week and then kill him off once he has the body, nobody will know or miss him, anyway. All I need is the reassurance that I can successfully construct a body. He’s merely a test subject at this point. Twat.
No wonder X’elo dislikes him.
If he continues like this, I will make his life here the embodiment of hell. Perhaps I should build his body with the tiniest penis. Or I should give him breasts, though he might enjoy that.
The base of the scroll is half completed, so at least that’s good news. I just hope this homunculus learns manners before I grant him the benefit of life.
