“Stop that, Sora. I don’t want to talk about!” Taichi wasn’t ready, plus those feelings were to never surface. If it wasn’t for those people putting this in her head, he wouldn’t have to deal with the problem that he can’t find a plan to deal with. If he spoke of his feelings, it’d probably put a stake between his friendship with Yamato and Sora, as well as between their relationship.

Taichi had been talking about Daisuke’s feelings about his lack of confidence in his role as the new leader. It seemed Daisuke was not understanding, letting that low self-esteem getting to his head and heart, weighing it down. The older boy argued back, “So you’re just going to give up? You’re not a quitter, Daisuke! You feeling that way only makes the other feel that way, but if you’re confident, the others will easily find you as their leader. 

How can they feel secure being led by someone who doubts his own role?” He sighed and spoke, trying to calm himself. “Just don’t let such little mistakes judge your leadership skills. If I let my mistakes take a toll on me, I’d have given up being a digidestined all together.”

Taichi smiled at the other brunette, who had announced her arrival with the sweet. The temperature was sky rocketing and becoming much too hot. He was thankful that she brought ice cream so he didn’t have to eat his mom’s homemade ice cream.
